Hey there! I'm Sam and I study Computer Science at Clemson University in South Carolina. I've worked with computers and technology as far back as I can remember and I am passionate about building software that is intuitive, usable, and visually appealing. I love (almost) all kinds of music and trivia; and hope to one day compete on Jeopardy! Scroll down to see more about me!
I learn and apply knowledge to real-life situations with ease. I love the field of Computer Science because of the huge variety of problems and the even larger variety of solutions makes every project an entirely new learning experience that builds my problem solving skills and expands my knowledge. I have experience developing serverless cloud-based applications in addition to applications intended for more traditional computing environments, and I am the sort of person who is intrigued rather than intimidated by a challenging problem.
Designed, tested, and implemented a tool to automatically enforce GDPR compliance across a massive data lake used for commercial machine learning applications.
Met with tech and non-tech stakeholders to inform the design and use-cases of my tool.
Created robust documentation detailing the design and implementation of my tool, allowing for easier future expansions or adaptations by other developers.
GPA: 3.14
